Not so long ago I met someone new who thought I looked very familiar, not really thinking about it, I told him I was a Bollywood actress... I'm not. Why would I say that? Probably because I was a little drunk but mostly because I'm a bit of a weirdo who thought it was funny. Anywho, he was convinced and I played my alter ego for a couple of hours. I did end up revealing that I was not who I claimed to be by the end of the night, luckily we share the same sense of humor and he thought it was completely hilarious! A good night was had and a funny story created. It also led to the natural progression of wearing traditional Indian jewelry with my daily outfits. I'm into it.

Vintage dress and Asos pants

This dress is part of a small but very important collection of mine, this said collection is made up of those extra special thrifted pieces that fit like they were made just for you. This does not happen to me very often, I'm pretty small so most of my finds end up being customised in one way another. But it's like the stars align when once in a blue moon I find a piece like this, the perfect bottle green colour and lush velvet material and to top it off it's an Alaia, bam!

It's been feeling a little more like spring the past few days, the sun rises a little bit sooner and the air is a little more fresh. Really looking forward to the warmer weather!

I bought these pants a while back but haven't really been in the mood to wear them in this winter coldness, which pretty much has me dressing in anything that allows no thought process except for the aim to stay warm! It's nice to get out of that boring process and get a bit inspired by the sunshine.

I like the mix of the plaited denim, the paneling of the dress and pleated pants. Who doesn't enjoy wearing flowers in their hair every now and then :)
