This past week my cosy, thick knit jumpers have been on high rotation. This one is actually my boyfriends but I've kind of claimed it this winter, cos ya know, you can never have enough oversize jumpers. Also, how awesome is this hat!?

I was perusing through my local Asian grocer and as I made my way to the back freezer section to get some soft tofu I realised that the whole section had been rearranged, it now housed many new aisles of awesome cheap knick knacks! Amongst the cutesy stationary and handy door stoppers I found this neon pencil case, it had these mesh inserts which I removed. It is now a lovely neon see through clutch! I'm loving the transparent trend coming through at the moment, gorgeous perspex jewelry, shoes and see through bags. Currently waiting for the postman to deliver this transparent paneled goodness!

A sweet daisy print baby doll dress I've had for years! It's chiffon fabric makes it perfect for winter layering and it's lightness perfect for balmy summer days. A floral dress fit for all seasons, no wonder I've held onto it for so long.

Finally on semester break! After being cooped up inside finishing off all my assignments, last minute of course, it's so good to just chill the fuck out. I'm very slowly getting back in the swing of things. Been organising everything this past week and spending as much time as I can get in the sun, staring at the sky through creepy bare trees. We've totally entered winter now and it's usually my favorite season as it's when I'm most productive, way more than I am in dry summer's heat, but having to get back into doing assignments and exams have completely thrown me off. I guess it'll take a little adjusting.

I don't think I'll ever get sick of wearing long dresses open over pants, I love the flowey fabric getting caught in the breeze. This little fuzz ball of a jacket is my favorite at the moment, fits like a dream and keeps me all warm and toasty.

I'm in love with this weather! Big coats, cosy knits and best of all snuggly blankets! I've been home a week and I'm really into the cold climate. I do have a nice pile of work to get through and I'm feeling pretty darn good about it. It's amazing how a holiday just lifts your spirits about, well, everything!

Finally after days of dark & gloomy armageddon-ish days the sun decided to come out! This pretty street near my house is located super close to a massively busy road in the city, I love that you don't have to stroll far into streets (and hang out in front of other peoples houses, hehe) and you feel like your miles from crowded and noisy city-ness.

This knitted Asos skirt is awesome, fits so comfortably! I'm happy i got the navy, it goes with so many of my tops.  Maxi skirts and big thick knits are pretty much all I've been wearing of late, and with the cold sticking around for some time I don't think I'll be stopping anytime soon. I should have taken some close up shots of my lipstick because it's crazy, super vibrant pink! I enjoy wearing such a pink lipstick in Winter, adds a nice pop of colour to my outfits.

Red Mera Vintage Jumper, vintage skirt, bag, necklace and blouse, Jeffrey Campbell Lita's

The jumper I'm wearing is my favorite item in store now. It's so fluffy and really soft, one of those jumpers that you could wear day after day... i had a bit of trouble parting with this one. Auctions are ending tomorrow night, you can shop the store here. These super cosy cashmere blend tights are freakin' awesome! Seriously, if you don't have a pair, get some. I got mine from trusty ol' David Jones, they're Jonathon Ashton ones and I don't plan on parting with these babies until Winter is well and truly over. They are by far the most comfy and warm tights i have ever owned.

I've been really over my hair this last month... I have daily thoughts of just cutting it off, but then my sanity returns. I've only ever coloured my hair a couple of times, when i was like 13 and really into Destiny's Child. Bad move. I get into these annoying 'need to change my hair' moods at least twice a year but never end up doing anything radical, and i really want to this time! But I have no idea  what I'd want to do so, let me know if you have any suggestions.
